JD's Superfantastic Birthday Bag

This is the bag I made for JD for her birthday. I really liked how it turned out. The fabric was really thick, so it was near impossible to sew, but it turned out really cute.

It is the Weekender Travel Bag from Amy Butler. I love these patterns!

I have loved this fabric for a long time, but it was way too expensive, so I never could buy it. Luckily I finally caught it on sale! Yeah!

OMG I love it!! How cute is that?!?! It's patterns like this that make me really want to learn to sew.

BTW, sorry we missed out on the show! It completely slipped right by us (as did the peach festival).

We need to have you over for dinner soon. I'm hot to paint and need tons of advice, and I miss hanging out with you guys. Are you going to Jackopierce next weekend?

Thanks, it's a cute bag, but definitely not one to start learning sewing on. :)

The show was good and we didn't make it to the peach festival either, bleh...

Dinner sounds good, let us know when. I didn't know about Jackopierce, where and when is it?
Not sure we can go, my temp assignment ends this week and not sure where and if I will be working next week...
